Allison Pennell (who feels ridiculous referring to herself in the

third person but will for the purposes of this brief bio) is a retired contributor to

the raucous and R-ratedand future 

impresarioa of  which will expand the franchise

and RIP Nick Jr. . She is also a reporter for the 

the not-award-winning but Pulitzer-worthy official newspaper of the Park Slope

Food Coop, offering punditry for the winsome  and other “real” journos

ever in search of ways to poke merciless fun of Park Slope.  When not doing the

above, Pennell is tending to  the myriad needs of her annoying but lovable

family, including but not limited to: walking the  , parking the car,

housekeeping , stage mothering , laying out the websites of

virtually everybody she knows, shifts at the dreaded , keeping up with

the Joneses , starting virtual school newspapers, walking the ,

parking the car, breaking up fights , destroying her children’s

spirit of , handling family  finances, living the

life of Reilly   on her husband’s aching back  , trying

to get out of attending  games on Ave X and most definitely on Staten

Island, lunching with ladies, eating bon bons, teaching   life skills, issuing

useless decrees , walking the , money-laundering,

terrorizing patronizing local businesses , and so on.
